It’s a 1968 Woody Hayes original that’s become part of Buckeye lore: when asked why he went for the two-point conversion instead of an extra point when Ohio State led Michigan 50-14 in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Hayes reportedly said, “Because I couldn’t go for 3”. The story is the stuff of legend, and its veracity is...somewhat questionable, but we’re sticking by it with a super-soft sweatshirt to rep one of the Buckeyes’ best coaches of all time. Pay homage.
