The 1992 Eastern Conference Semifinals: The end of an era and one of the greatest series comebacks in Cavaliers’ history.
With banner performances by trifecta Brad Daugherty, Mark Price and Larry Nance, the Cavs put up a till-then franchise-tying regular season record of 57-25. And after taking out the New Jersey Nets in four, they met the resistance of Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics in the conference semis. Down 2-1 to the Celtics and facing them in Boston, the Cavs pulled the series even before taking it in the seventh game and last of Larry Bird’s career. Pay homage.
