The true tailgating experience at Michigan State isn’t complete without lining the way from the Kellogg Center to Spartan Stadium in anticipation of the Spartan Walk.
Every home game, hours before the Spartans take the field, the team makes the ten-minute walk from their hotel on Harrison Rd. to the bronze replica of the Spartan Statue at the corner of Kalamazoo St. and Red Cedar Rd. As the Spartan Marching Band plays, each player one by one places pennies at the base of the statue and rubs the feet of the Spartan to bring good luck. Gear up for all the game day festivities in a long sleeve tee perfect for the crisp fall weather. Go Green! (We can’t hear you...)
