Gund Arena

$24 $32

Hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rockers, Barons and Lumberjacks, Gund Arena was where Cleveland’s warriors went to battle. Opening in 1994 and named after former Cavs owner, Gordon Gund, the arena succeeded Richfield Coliseum as the home of the Cavs and Cleveland’s main venue for outsized entertainment.

Featuring a capacity of more than 20,000, the arena was inaugurated with a Billy Joel concert, became the site of several WWE events and had MAC fans flocking to it for bball madness. Following the sale of the Cavs in 2005, the site was renamed Quicken Loans Arena in honor of the founder and chairman of the company (Dan Gilbert), the new Cavs majority owner.
