WE RISE TOGETHER

In 2014, President Obama launched the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) initiative, which called on communities across the country to take action to address persistent opportunity gaps facing boys and young men of color and ensure all youth reach their full potential. The City of Columbus answered the call to action by creating My Brother’s Keeper Village in 2016 to address disparity gaps in education, safety, health and economics facing boys and young men of color in central Ohio.

My Brother’s Keeper Village is committed to boosting postsecondary education for boys and young men of color to help close and eliminate the opportunity gaps that exist.

The We Rise Scholarship Fund (WRSF) is MBK’s yearly campaign to raise financial support for its students. Every purchase will make it possible for promising high school students to attend college.
