The year was 1969: man walked on the moon for the first time, and the Buckeyes captured the Rose Bowl and the national championship with a victory over the USC Trojans on January 1st. Marking just the second time in Rose Bowl history that the #1 and #2 ranked teams met on the field, the game ended in a 27-16 Buckeye win with QB Rex Kern capturing Player Of The Game. Pay homage.
