as cliche as this sounds, this year’s super bowl was truly super–a great finale to a surprising season in the nfl. with so many intriguing story lines going into the game, it was hard to choose a team. kurt warner, with his inspirational path to the big leagues, simply defied expectations throughout the regular season and during the cardinals playoff run. on the opposing sideline, mike tomlin was trying to become the youngest coach to ever win the big one! and finally, as a devout ohio state fan, i have to say that santonio is my “holmes” boy. congratulations to both teams who played an amazing game. if only the lombardi trophy could be awarded to two squads.
