For nearly a decade, from the late '60s to late '70s, the motto of the Minnesota Vikings' defensive line was "Meet at the quarterback." Led by nine-time Pro Bowl tackle Alan Page, ends Carl Eller (six Pro Bowls) and Jim Marshall and tackle Gary Larsen (two each), the "Purple People Eaters" led the Vikes to their first divisional title in 1968, appearances in Super Bowls IV, VIII, IX, and XI, and are considered among the greatest defenses of all time.
